Book Recommendation
Hey friend and fans!
You have got to check out this book by a new author friend of mine, JoAnne Kenrick, "When a Mullo Love a Woman".
It's coming out on ebook in December and paperback a month after that.
The synopsis caught my eye right off and the cover is beautiful!

Review
Secrets by MaryJanice Davidson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Okay, so this is my very first review of a compilation of short stories, but I had to let everyone know what a fantastic book this is, especially since my husband found it lying in the middle of the highway and picked it up for me.
Flint's Fuse by Sandy Fraser is the yummy story of a rich influential man's daughter and the man he hired to kidnap her. Yes, her father had her kidnapped, for her own good. Evidently there are some very bad men who might use her as a pawn and knowing that his daughter Dana Madison, fiesty and stubborn wouldn't go willingly, he hired Flint to get her out of the way.
The story is set mostly in the log cabin he has taken her to and she stays tied up most of the time, but that doesn't keep the sparks from flying as she does everything she can to seduce her way out of her situation.
5 Stars on this steamy little romp.
Love's Prisoner by Maryjanice Davidson is a really cool werewolf love story with plenty of action that starts out with Jeannie and Michael stuck in an elevator together. No light and no electricity, but outside the moon is rising and with no way out, Michael has no choice but to change in front of Jeannie. As he feels the change coming, his animal instincts tell him that Jeannie is destined to be his mate and he takes her in the elevator.
Afterward, mortified and pretty sure she'd just been raped, Jeannie and can't get away from him fast enough. He helps her escape through the top hatch and just as he's about to climb out, the cable breaks and he falls to his death, or so she thinks. Torn between relief and grief, she tries to go on with her life, but a couple of weeks later, he shows up at her door, informing her that she's pregnant with his child and therefore she belongs to him. He takes her to his house for protection. There is a rival clan out to usurp his position as head of the pack and would kill Jeannie to keep Michael's heir from being born.
His job has just begun as he struggles to convince her she belongs to him. There are lots of "make you blush to your toes" scenes and the plot moves very quickly. I love this one. It was my favorite and it definitely deserves 5 stars.
The Education of Miss Felicity Wells by Alice Gaines was set at the turn of the century. Felicity is engaged and wants to become very good regarding matters of the bedroom, so she goes to Marcus Slade, infamous Libertine. He is hired to instruct her but the only catch is he cannot deflower her. Anything and everything else is allowed. Let me just say, Professor Slade is a very imaginable man.
This story was fun and the ending, though expected, was not disappointing. I also give this little romp 5 stars.
A Candidate for a Kiss by Angela Knight was a vampire short story that was full of humor and oooh la la hot lovemaking scenes that made my temperature rise. Dana was a reporter who had put herself in a precarious position to get the story of the year. Archer was a secret agent working for an elite government force who happened to be a vampire. As soon as he lays eyes on Dana, he realizes she is the perfect candidate for the "dark kiss", meaning she is one of like a zillion people who can survive being turned into a vampire. He wants to seduce her into it but his boss has other plans and orders him to do it. As a patriot, Archer has no choice but to follow orders but he will give it his best shot first.
I loved this one too. It was a close second on my favs list. I also give this one 5 stars.
Here's the thing. All the stories were great. How come I didn't know these books even existed? This is volume 6 but I just saw where one of my goodreads friends had marked volume #25! I've got to get my hands on another one soon!
Caution: These books are not for pre-teens and young teens. There is explicit sex scenes that are not for young readers. Strictly adult fare.

Book Review/Rabbit. Chasing Beth Rider
Rabbit: Chasing Beth Rider by Ellen C. Maze
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I've been thinking about how to write this review all day. It's going to be very difficult to explain all the different reasons why I loved this book, but I'll try:
It's a totally new concept. The story is fresh and I didn't know what to expect. I was so pleasantly surprised that I could be surprised. I have this horrible habit of trying to guess the outcome of a book (I guess it's the writer in me), but the story of a race of vampires (Rakum) and their social structure, living amongst the human population, feeding from volunteers (cows). Some of them even develop emotional bonds with their "donors". Life for the Rakum has been privileged and spoiled for thousands of years. They take extremely beautiful women and use them as breeders to enlarge their numbers, raising the "pups", teaching them their ways.
If a Rakum becomes a traitor or a human threatens to expose them or put their way of life into danger, they are marked as "Rabbits". They go on the run, but because they have been marked, they live forever, therefore their punishment is eternal. They are hunted by the Rakum, caught, played with, tortured, until the Rakum become bored and set them free to be hunted by more Rakum. It is the ultimate punishment.
Enter Beth Rider: Author of a series of Paranormal Christian books where her vampire characters become Christians. She is marked as a Rabbit because her novels are bringing Rakum to Christ. She's not alone as she finds comrades in the most unexpected places, Rakum who are willing to die for her and her God. Oh and there's Michael Stone, the Rakum who doesn't understand her strong faith but nonetheless is inexplicably drawn to the beautiful Rabbit. It's a battle between good and evil that will leave you gasping in anticipation!
Ellen Maze's book kept me mesmerized. I didn't want to put it down and I can't wait for the sequel.

Review
Shades of Gray by G.L. Drummond
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
G.L. Drummond is a wonderful storyteller. I loved how her characters came to life, their vulnerability, their shortcomings, but most of all, their intense love for each other.
Something has gone wrong with Tia and Grey's marriage. Something so subtle yet destructive that they almost didn't notice it.
In one night, Grey comes dangerously close to sealing the fate of their future. When he confesses to Tia, she has to admit to some of the blame.
Realizing that they must make one last effort to salvage what's left of the once raging flame of their passion, Grey takes her to a remote cabin where there are no cell phones, business meetings or conference calls.
But being alone together is awkward for them. Is it too late? Can they find a way back? Back to a time when their love was new?
I cried when I read this story. G.L. Drummond has written a story that speaks to every couple who has ever let "life" drive a wedge between them. Too busy chasing the all mighty dollar, letting their work define who they are instead of what they do.

REVIEWS
Hi everyone!
Well, let me first apologize for being M.I.A. lately. I've just been swamped!
Several people have reviewed Her Sanctuary in the past few weeks and I'd like to post some links and I just have to post a 5 star review I received from Rick, moderator of "The James Mason Book Club" group on goodreads. Oh, and they've put it on their bookshelf! Okay, here it is:
P.Q. Glisson has written a stunningly good novel - Her Sanctuary was one of the most affecting book I have read- the plot is both exciting and original- but it is the characters that make this book many notches above your ordinary Romance Thriller- The character of Seth Proudfoot is one of the most original characters I have ever encountered- both complex and so very real- he will be long remembered after reading this gem of a novel- I cannot recommend this book more highly- it has it all- a very original plot, excitement, romance and is very much worth reading by those who appreciate great literature
Lacey Williams, my very good special goodreads friend, wrote a review and gave it 4 out of 5 laces. Here's the link to her blog. http://laceyshoelaces.blogspot.com
Thank you Lacey for a wonderful review! :)
Ginny-Gin reviewed it and gave it 4 out of 5 lips. Here's her link:
http://ikissbooks.blogspot.com/
I am about 6 away from having 400 people put the book on their "to read" list. YAY!!!
I have also been featured in a local magazine publication. I will scan and paste to the site in a little while. It was so exciting seeing my picture in color on a full page layout with the byline: EIGHT MONTHS. The interviewer was really impressed that it only took eight months to write the book. She's been working on the same book for 15 years! Sorry, I would've chucked it out the window by now. I gotta give her props. That's a long time to work on ONE book!
Anyway, I'm sure I'm leaving something out, but I'll just have to post it later! lol
Thanks to all of you have been faithful followers! I love you all!!!

Kindle
So I went to amazon about a week ago and thought I had performed the necessary procedures to make the book available for Kindle, but unfortunately, I must've missed a step or something because they had no record of it. So, I went back on last night and now I think I got it right. I should know for sure in about 48 hours. Keep your fingers crossed!! It's already available for Nook with BnN and on ebooks. The last frontier to conquer now is Smashwords and the IPad. It's a killer!! I'll let ya'll know as soon as it's ready. Stay tuned!

Look Inside
Hey everyone. I've been so busy trying to make my book available on kindle and nook and Ipad. I'm waiting to see if it went through for kindle and it's now available for nook through BnN. The only one left is Ipad. I am attempting to reformat my pdf file for Smashwords. Man, it's tough!
The good news is, I uploaded the "look inside" feature for amazon. Now potential customers can get a sneak preview of the book. It's very COOL!!
I'll keep you updated on the kindle news.
Please tell people you know, about the book and ask them to become followers and to order the book. I thank each and every one of you who have become fans. You are the most wonderful people in the world!!!

Interview
Had my interview with Effingham magazine last Monday. It went great and the photographer was a miracle worker. He made me look good!
Thinking about having some t-shirts made up. Turquoise t's with the wolf's eyes on the front breast pocket. On the back at the top the name, Her Sanctuary, in the middle the wolf's eyes again but bigger and P.Q. Glisson underneath. Think people would buy them?

Welcome!
Welcome everyone to my very first blog! I am so excited! If you are viewing this blog for the first time and would like to know a little more about Her Sanctuary, I am attaching the overview to this post:
Shannon Mallory was a woman on the run….not from outside forces but from her own wounded heart. When she pulled up into the parking lot of The Last Resort Café, in the town of Sanctuary, little did she know she would find the one thing she never even knew she was searching for….true love.
Seth Proudfoot wasn’t looking for anything, except an end to his miserable existence. Accused of a crime he couldn’t remember committing, he was ostracized by a town that, ironically, bore the name of the one thing he could never find….Sanctuary.
When the two meet, neither can ignore the magnetic pull between them, but will Shannon allow her damaged spirit to trust a man…a man who may have murdered his own family?
Though Shannon is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, it is her spirit that breaks down the iron-clad shield around his heart. Their desire burns hotter than the Arizona desert, threatening to melt the very mountains that loom like silent Gods above their heads. But can their love survive a betrayal that could very well cost them both their lives?
If you are a die hard fan of romance/mystery novels or just a romantic at heart, you will love this book.
It is available at amazon.com or any of the major bookchains websites.
Because iuniverse is a POD (print on demand) publisher, it is not yet available in stores.
